Since the early ‘70s, the former Whitehill School has been home to many community activities, firstly as a Teachers’ Centre. When Bucks County Council decided to sell the building, a group of volunteers founded Chesham & District Community Association to purchase it, and in September 1977 the doors were opened to all.
Now over 60 groups, clubs and societies, as well as businesses and charities, regularly use White Hill Centre. It is an ideal venue for private hire, weddings and other celebrations, with a range of rooms available.
The Association is a registered charity, independent of local authority funding. The White Hill Centre is managed by volunteers, supported by our paid staff. Funds to run this magnificent building come from donations, with input from Association funds where available.
We look forward to welcoming you.
